A higher staff:camper ratio with specialist staff means kids receive that extra attention that can make all the difference in creating a comfortable experience. Group 2 campers are more focused on learning the complete safety and operation of driving a pleasure craft, we understand campers at this age don’t wish to be stuck in the class room all day. Therefore, during afternoon sessions students get to focus on the activities they want to do. There’s even a free-swim time where you can go for a dip before the day ends, or just hang out with friends, or do some crafts. There’s always a camp-wide activity where you get to play with the campers from the rest of the camp. It’s not a huge camp, so chances are your child(ren) will get to know lots of other kids, and make some great new friends!

Group 2 programs are designed to offer detailed, high level instruction, campers love the structured freedom of our elective program where they are able to enjoy their favorite activities and also be exposed to new ones!

Our group 3 programs are tailored more towards hands on boating education and safety. With jam packed schedule, we recognize that each camper has unique interests. Our carefully designed elective program allows campers to customize part of their daily schedule. Campers choose their elective each week at camp with the guidance of our staff from a varied list of activities touching all core activity areas at camp. As campers get older, electives become a bigger part of the schedule to enhance their experience and foster independence and individuality. Our group counselors are active participants and help bring campers to and from their elective periods.

  • Instructors will introduce themselves and get an understanding of the skill level possessed by each participant. Once introductions are complete, focus will be turned to safety. A detailed review safety procedures and protocols will be completed.
  • Dry land instruction precedes entering the water. During this time, our instructors will demonstrate and instruct on how to put on the equipment, techniques for getting on top of the water for the first time as well as the fundamentals required to get up and riding.
  • Once in the water all instruction and boat operation becomes focused on the individual (one on one) to ensure they get the most out the experience.
